Want to geotag your digital camera photos? Have Lightroom or Aperture? PixTrack is the Dropbox-syncing GPS tracklogger you need.
1. Tap the Start button.
2. Take your photos.


PixTrack tracks your location.

3. Tap the Stop button.
GPX log is automatically
uploaded to Dropbox.
4. Tag your photos with Lightroom or Aperture.

Lightroom Step-by-Step

  1. Select the photos you'd like to tag.
    Hint: Select All on the latest import works well.
  2. Switch to the Map module.
  3. Choose:
    Your tracklogs are in your Dropbox folder:
    Dropbox > Apps > PixTrack
  4. After your tracklog is loaded, choose:

Aperture Step-by-Step

  1. Select the photos you'd like to tag.
  2. Switch to the Places module.
  3. Choose:
    Your tracklogs are in your Dropbox folder:
    Dropbox > Apps > PixTrack
  4. Drag the first photo to the location on the tracklog where it was taken.
  5. Click Automatically assign photo locations based on capture time. Aperture will automatically tag the remaining photos.
  6. That's It!

Other Software

  1. Should work with any software that uses standard GPX file.
  2. Your tracklogs are in your Dropbox folder:

Keep Time

To-the-second time and date display makes it easy to set your camera's clock to your phone's time, making accurate tagging easy.

Synced Logs

Easily access past logs by tapping the history button. View them on other devices, or add GPX files from your desktop.

Reminders

Keeping accurate tracklogs can be hard on your phone's batteries. PixTrack can remind you its running so you don't leave it on by accident.

Alternatives to Dropbox

Export files to other apps, to iCloud Drive, or send them to yourself via email. You can also access logs through the Apps tab in iTunes.
